Pennsylvania Energy Management Demonstration Training - Phase 1

The Energy Management Demonstration project will equip your facility with the resources to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.  Resources include energy management training and coaching to implement the recently published International Energy Management Standard (ISO 50001) and may include energy assessments and other U.S. Department of Energy technical assistance.
This demonstration project is an expansion of successful pilots conducted in several regions of the country over the past three years that have already resulted in significant energy savings. By participating, your facility will be among a select group of facilities prepared to pursue certification through Superior Energy Performance (SEP), a forthcoming American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-accredited energy management certification program.

May 30, 31- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and June 1 - 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Phase 1 is a two and half day workshop session

 

Phase 1workshop defines key elements of planning:
• Understand facilities current energy management environment
• Develop energy policy and set organizational goals
• Establish a baseline of energy use
• Set performance indicators and review processes
